Thank you for taking the time to wander through my website and for giving me the opportunity to share some of my art and my passion with you. These are my interpretations of shadow and light captured on the human form.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I studied photography at Portland State University, and then moved to Los Angeles, where I continued my study in photography at Artography Institute. While living in Los Angeles I have been fortunate to work with some of the top fashion photographers in the business - a great learning experience.
I have always had a love for the world of photography, actually almost an obsession. My primary career put me in the world of the hair/fahion beauty industry, where I first spread my wings and started shooting for salons and hair fashion magazines.
My ultimate passion in the world of photography is to be able to capture the art and beauty that is in the male figure. I think that the human body is definitely one, if not the most magical form of art on the planet.
Throughout my career,
I have had the good fortune to have photographed numerous covers and centerfolds along with editorial work.
While my primary focus is on the male body, I hope that you enjoy all of my interpretations of what I see; images captured in light and shadow, form and shape, the depth, and the resulting sensuality. –Ryan Boyd
